I figured I better start a new thread as we was filling up the gail with strike plates. Here's a couple pics of a real easy to make home made strike plate cutter...bd (http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii175/bowdocsarchery/die003.jpg) (http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii175/bowdocsarchery/die004.jpg) (http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii175/bowdocsarchery/die006.jpg)

Hey Don, how do you get those creases in the leather?
Can you list a few sizes of strike plates from the 59-66 Kodiaks? Also, could you tell us how many creases were there in the strike plates of each year's model (if they varied)?
Lon I made a roller with 6 washers spaced 1/4" apart that I just roll over the leather. Its best if you wet the leather first with a little water or leather dye.I just cut all 6 line strike plates with my cutter and then trim those down for the year I need.bd
