Title: BEAR Hawk (made for Sears) Info???
Post by: smalson on August 17, 2008, 07:25:00 PM
Hi guys.

I just picked up a nice little BEAR HAWK with a Bear springarm quiver.  Can't post pics at the moment, but will soon.

Serial number is:  2090H
AMO:  52"
45#

It looks very similar to the Kodiak Magnum from the period where it has a straight accent stripe with wood laminations.  The glass is the green that seems a bit grayish.

Simple white overlays on the tips and no overlay on the front of the riser.

Thanks for the help . . .  as always.

Oh, yea.  I also picked up a gray leather handle BEAR CUB with carmel glass.  It is a longbow rather than a recurve.
Serial:  SC370  36# 62"

As always, you guys are a great help.

Steve
