I was doing some bareshafting today, I shoot 3 under mostly but switch sometimes. My bareshafts and fletched groups were the same with both draws which it should be. Unless your arrow spine is border line then 3 under may show stiff. Not sure what results your talking about, what exactly is happening?

getting same flight with bareshafts i figured they would tune different due to the two styles

They will tune a little different. I try not to bare shaft much it can drive you insane, I like to use them when experimenting with tip weight and strike plate thickness.

The only difference ive noticed is nock may need to be raised and plate may need to be thinner because 3 under can affect dynamic spine, my riser is cut 3/16 past center. That's what I meant by tuning different. What issues are you having, keep in mind I USE to be a decent archer but I took a very long break but I remember a great deal.

Ok I gotcha ya. That's a good thing if your switching for aiming purposes. also would mean your form is good I would think.
