Title: Bow Hand placement
Post by: BigBucksnTrucks on November 20, 2012, 02:00:00 PM
I found this to be very helpful and thought I'd share.  not sure if it's been posted here before, hopefully I'm not breaking any rules. The model is using a wheelie, but I believe it would be the same for trads.  This is the form I changed over to this year after reading one of G Fred Asbells books on bow hand grip.  I've found it to really helps avoid torquing the bow.  I don't use a wrist sling when shooting and am still able to keep the bow hand relaxed without dropping the bow.  Well hopefully it will be helpful to others.

Do a search that moebow posted up ( grip question ), he explains this in detail and yes it helped me greatly to say the least, if fact look up all of his instructional suggestions on shooting, i'm sure you will find them very helpful.

Good luck.
