Alright Folks I need a few opinions on this paper tuning I just did. I took some pics and want opinions whether the holes look good or bad. I'm pretty sure I'm trying to be WAY to meticulous on this BUT....I still consider myself a learning person and want to learn from something I'm still learning about.
The bow specs are 3 pc. Samick Sage TD recurve. The bow is #40@28 and I draw 27". The first two holes posted are with a wood arrow sporting a 125 grain field point and a 125 grain woody weight spined 60-65 and are 28.25" in length to the back of the point on the woodyweight.

The next pics are of a GT 3555 29" with a 100 grain brass insert and a 145 grain field point.

This last one is really I think the only one I'm concerned about....

What say you oh tuners of paper???? GOOD tune or BAD? Thanks for the replies and taking the time to look.
looks like bullet holes to me
Lookin good to me, you my see some slight changes in holes due to release issues but there is nothin wrong with any of the holes there.
They look great to me, John. How far were you shooting from?
Shooting between 8-10 feet back from the paper.
I thought that you should shoot at 6 feet. By 10 feet the arrow would be straightened out.
Shot at 6 feet and getting pretty much the same tears as posted. I think I should be good....Now to move on to the BH's and start shooting a little more than two sessions a day.
American,
I concur with the rest. Looking good brother
I would be very pleased with those holes. I cannot seem to get away from a slight tear up. I think it must be in my realease as my hunting partner can shoot bullet holes like those with both our bows. You are indeed good to go!
