I've struggled with grouping left for some time and couldn't figure out why.  My shooting yesterday was right down the middle by lining up the string with the arrow under the eye.  I did find I will need a different tab.  I shoot a Black Widow 3 under tab and the stiff back part of the tab hits my cheekbone before I get to full anchor when I get the arrow under the eye.  Thanks for this excellent tip.

Jimmy, this is a great tip. When someone asks me about hitting to the left, I first suggest they try a different tab/glove if their arrows are spined correctly. This simple change can make a big difference.

Keep up the good work!

For me personally, I get the best arrow alignment and accuracy with one of Scott Teaschner's tabs, followed by the Eichler tab from 3R and third by a Saunders Pak Tab.

The first two are Cordovan, the Saunders rubber, but all three are just the right thickness, and provide good finger protection.  I've tried almost every tab available, including the Cavalier, Soma Fivics, Black Widow, Batemans, etc.   Scott's tab gives me the option of changing finger ring size to suit barehanded or with a glove on in colder weather.  Most of the other tabs put the string too far outside of where it needed to be...and arrows always headed left.  Just my experiences.

Trim mine too Mike.  But the design of some tabs, especially those with a thicker back plate, and my anchor point just don't work with getting things aligned.
