...low-wrist, medium-wrist, or high wrist?
Which do you prefer and for what reasons?
High wrist (and off the shelf).
It's what I learned with ("feels right"), gets my arrow near my hand to help with instinctive shooting, reduces canting errors/effect.

I haven't shot many high-wrist bows, so as a result, I guess I'm more accustomed to the other two. I'm also a beginner, so it's helpful to hear opinions on why the different wrist-styles suit others. Thanks! Are there any others that can add their opinions?

High, medium or low wrist kind of depends on the way your bow's grip is cut. You need to adapt to the bow unless you are willing to modify the grip.
Currently accepted theory is that a high wrist grip is the weakest (too much hand between the bow and the Ulna bone in the arm). Progressing to the low wrist grip which has the least amount of hand between the bow and the ulna and is the strongest.
I'm wondering if you saw the pictures that I posted on another thread here titled "grip question". The grip I show there will work on all bows regardless of grip style and whether you use high, medium or low.

Yes, I do prefer low wrist. It puts less hand between the bow grip and the Ulna bone in the forearm. It is a noticeably stronger grip than any of the others.
