ive been trying to get the rigth nock height for shooting 3 under i know everyone is diffrent but im curious what some of you guys have yours at that shoot 3 under
about one inch above the shelf
five eights of an inch
Ditto on 5/8s as a starting point.
Shoot straight, Shinken
Usually 3/4" to 1" above center. DB
Higher than you woulda thunk.

im at 7/8 i thought i was way out of range but it sounds like im on the right track
I start at 1/2 inch above zero and never have to change it. I use this on 8 bows and two arrows.
I thought there was something wrong with my set up because I've got mine tuned around 3/8" nock high and I'm shooting 2 fingers under. I'm glad I stumbled in here, now I don't feel stupid for having mine set up that way.
3/4 inch above the shelf for me.
I'm usually from 3/8" to 1/2" on all my bows after bare shaft tuning.

I'm with Jim.......a lot of the nock height will depend on YOUR own specific release of the string. I had always heard that the nocking point height would be higher when shooting 3-under......but for me it isn't.

I'm at 3/16ths. Seems low but I get good arrow flight....
I'm with the 5/8 guys. Seems to shoot the best for me.
What are you using to judge if your knock height is right? I guess I'm just wondering if my knock height is right. I don't know if I moved it if I would know what I was looking for. I have worked in bow shops for years, but I am very new to traditional shooting.
