Do you place your fingers right under the nock or do you place them down the string and if you do, how far?
up against the bottom of the nock
my wife shoots three under. she places her fingers right on the bottom of the nock. this make her anchor point right even with her eye
I place my fingers right bellow the nock on the string where my top finger is just touching the nock, I find that if I put too much pressure on the nock it affects my shooting
I agree exactly with Ian Johnson my experience has been the same.
If I place my top finger right uer the nock, my arrows flies low. I place my top finger approx a half inch below the nock and it is very accurate this way for me. Any input?
I have double nock sets and I will keep my top finger just below the bottom nockset. seems to shoot cleaner

If it aint broke dont fix it.
I agree with Mr. Johnson, if I "pinch" the nock I don't get consistant arrow flight.
In Norway we shoot after Fita rules and for competition we must have at least one finger touching the arrow.
I shoot with the nock lightly touching my index finger at full draw.
light touch with index finger
I do the same thing BMOELLER does - keeps me from pinching the nock.
It will not matter in the woods, but at many 3D shoots you must have a minimum of one finger touching the nock at full draw.
