Post by: oksrcher2 on June 13, 2009, 06:44:00 PM
i JUST GOT MY FIRST BW TUESDAY AND I AM SHOOTING 4" HIGH AND 3" LEFT, IS THERE ANY THING I CAN DO TO FIX THIS. I HAVE ONLY BEEN SHOOTING A RECURVE 4 DAYS BUT I HAVE SHOT COMPOUNDS FOR YEARS.

Might work on one thing at a time. Play with the braceheight, or change the arrow point weight. these two things might get the left thing fixed, then work on the high thing. What Steve said is very critical also. Forms first.

Are you right or left handed?

With only 4 days gone I wouldn't change a thing.  If you're shooting that well at 15-20 yards (?) then its probably unfamiliarity more than form or gear.  Have fun with it for now, you can tweak things later after the new wears off and you learn the feel of your setup.
