I just bought the Cricket to help fix my target panic. Trouble is, once I get it set to my draw lenght I still find myself releasing before it goes off. It seems that as soon as my hand touches my face I let go. I can get it to click if I REALLY slow things down on the draw. Am I expecting the Cricket to cure my target panic to quickly or do I just need to give it more time?
More Time... these work much like clickers on compatition recurves it takes a lot of quality not quantity hours of of practice just to get use to it and make it a part of there form or rutien

a practice i use to do is get 4 yards or closer to your taret and close your eyes and concentrate on the click and release

Yep, you just have to SLOW down and get the feel for where the click happens. You may need to adjust the length shorter or longer to get it just right. I typically spend several days getting one just right when I'm setting up a new bow.
Let me begin by saying I am no expert on clickers. In fact, I have only been shooting one for a couple months. What I have learned is this: Set the click just past where you anchor. As you reach your anchor, you have to continue to pull ( using your back muscles ) through the shot until you hear the click, then release.
Make sure you are not over bowed. If you are, there is not a clicker in the world that will help.
