Title: Grizzly Stick , CE, Other - ???
Post by: Blasterjdh on September 24, 2008, 12:55:00 PM
Okay - want to try carbons and looking for some guidance... Centaur Double Carbon 49@28, I pull 28" --- been shooting 2018's (29.5") with 145gr - she likes those pretty well. Been looking pretty heavily at the Griz Stiks and Carbon Express's.

What would be you choice for a beginner that wants to shoot 225-260 gr broadheads? Any suggestions welcome !!!

I prefer to try to keep my arrows around 29-30.5" BOP - I know the tuning is what tells you the proper length - just my wishes known in advance....

Thanks in advance for all suggestions....JDH

Im shooting 48@28 29 3/4 Sitkas brass insert 165gr head. I have tried from 125 to 190gr all flew good but the 165 flys great. I have tried the 150 and 250 CE's. They are good arrows. I was going to shoot 3555 GT this year until i shot the sitkas.
I did not like the nocks i went with the uni-nocks and G nocks a lot better for me.
