well this might seem a little silly, and i should already know it, But how do you guys go about tuning your brace height and nocking point? Do you set your nocking point first then mess around finding the proper brace height? or do get a set brace height that you are going to stick with and then mess around moving your nocking point?
It seems having your nocking point set first, as you twist your string or loosen it, your nock point should move.
also, my arrows have already been bareshafted months ago, so i see no needs to go back to doing that.
I set my nock point first, because twisting the string up or down you a shorten or lengthen the string equally. Then I adjust my brace for tuning to achieve good arrow flight.
I like to set brace first then the nock but it may change a little when I bareshaft as the arrows may indicate that it is needed. Drew
I rough set the nocking point so arrow is comming off quietly the play with brace height until it is quiet and sweet. Then tune the arrows. If you change brace height you may need to retune the arrow as it effects how long the arrow is on the string and effects paradox.
