A padded envelope was handed to me by my letter carrier. It had some weight to it. I brought it into the living room. I took out my pocket knife and opened it up. First out several magazines, Primitive Archer and Trad Archers World. They are all issues I don't already have. Great!
Then out come two book The Bowhunting Life by Ralph Blackwelder and Longbow Country by E.Donnall Thomas Jr. Both are books I don't have.. Bonus! The two packages of broadheads, factory new, still in original packaging 6 Ace Hi-speed 100 grain and 3 Zwickey Eskimo 125 grain. Now I am grinning. Then something else is in the package down in the bottom. A Neet shooting glove. I just happen to be in need of a new glove. Hey great it fits! I GO GRAB a braced Longbow hanging on the wall and draw it with the glove. That will work!
Well I am happy with my White Elephant surprise. :clapper:
I had a box waiting for me on the porch. I was pretty excited to open it! I hurried into the house and out came my pocket knife. Got it opened up and this is what was in it. One dozen broadheads 6 were 3 blades Magnus I believe and 6 were 2 blades Stos heads or steel force maybe. There were some string tamers , a compass, some neat trail marking flags a Knight and Hale pack rack magnum rattling device and a arrow Head that hangs from a necklace. Thanks a lot Joe !!! I really appreciate your kindness
Steve Jr's white elephant to me arrived Saturday and today; yes, two boxes! Saturday's box held a variety of items, t-shirt, deer lure, handwarmer, fancy can koozie, some great nocks (perfect choice), a good BH file and a half dz Zwickey Delta 4's. Today's box was long and contained a very nice Shakespeare Wambaw recurve. I envision a White Elephant hunt coming this fall. Thanks Steve!

Longbowray -one reaps what you sow-your package was outstanding to me. Zwickey Deltas,GT shafts with inserts, nocks, feathers, and wraps. But if that was not enough he also included some beautiful woodies in a perfect spine. Those will be with me this fall in the deer woods. Thank you Sir!

I received from Anointed Archer a Great Northern Attachment ,51/2" Parabolic chopper, lighted nock, some rt. wing feathers, and some wrap tubes. Thanks and can't wait for the next one!
Got a knife and broadhead sharpening jig from Bama.
Graps - hit home on everything in the package! I was looking around for a couple more traditional archery books to read, he included Traditional Way and Toxicated by Fred Anderson (haven't read either). I am a bow quiver JUNKIE and he sent me a two arrow minimalist quiver and an EFA 4 arrow quiver. I also love tinkering with broadheads (I guess most of us do!) - in the box was some single bevels Grizzly heads. My daughter is showing signs of wanting to shoot but she is the only lefty in the house so I have absolutely NO left handed equipment - there was a very nice, new left hand shooting tab. Along with other items that I will surely use such as an awesome fleece bow sock, black fleece hat for the popup blind, various feathers, a shooting glove, a deer grunt tube with extra insert, and some head cement. Oh and a camo Selway ball cap. Outstanding in every way!
Got a package yesterday from goobersan! I received a marine boonie hat two turkey calls,a magnesium fire starter, two tabs,Brute broadheads,a head net, a carbide knife sharpener, a bow hoist and a Flemish twist bow string! Thanks Goobersan for your generosity!
Got a really super strap on quiver and some extra goodies from Huskyarcher. Thanks!
