Anyone put velcro in the pocket of their ILF bow? I have 2 risers and I noticed the limbs are rubbing in the pocket and could use some padding. Would love to see ILF set ups. Thanks.
I cut some pads out of some old rubber coasters. They really dampened the noise which was something that was annoying me. Worked very well
I have put velcro and some sticky back felt inside limb pockets, made a big difference in noise. My mountain muffler strings did a wonderful job too on my ILF setups.
I put Velcro on the limb butts and in the pocket. If the Velcro is to thick to allow the limb to click in I put moleskin. It makes a huge difference in noise.
Between that and setting the tiller for the way I shoot (fixed crawl) I can get my ILF bows amazingly quiet.
A while back I started putting liquid electrical tape on all the contact areas of my limbs. Makes for a good cushion and can be replaced easily as needed.
Using it for limb tip protectors too.

Jim, I imagine the liquid tape wears out at some point. How long does it last?
I use that stick on felt as well. Bought a big piece at craft store some years back. Stuff has lots of uses.
I use mole skin and I have used Velcro.......both worked fine.
I use the liquid electrical tape also. Works very well.

Like everything else, I guess it depends. I haven't had to replace any under the limb bolts; I've added a little smear on each side of the bushing, and I've replaced and/or added to the limb tip a couple time. But... I lean the bow against to house when I shoot (and I shoot a lot)and the tip rests on the concrete walk.
The good thing is, a container of this stuff may last a lifetime, if it doesn't dry out first. :)
