Had a great time at Kalamazoo. Saw lots of old friends and made some new ones.
I'm glad you had a great time. My buddies and I went Saturday and were a "little" disappointed (compared to years gone by).
Karen and I had a great time catching up with old friends and making some new ones.
I as usual spent more money than I had planned but oh well.
It was great. I have a buddy who wasn't able to go but was hoping to see some pictures. If you guys have any could you post them up?
I didn't take many pictures but here's one

The Kalamazoo expo is the highlight of the winter for me. The last few years I've had the privilege of helping at the Lost Nation archery booth its busy but very rewarding to see a lot of folks who love traditional archery.
This is a great show, thanks to all involved in putting it on. Special thanks to all the customers who stopped by the booth, great talking to all of you look forward to dealing with you in the future.

Always look forward to this show to help break up the winter doldrums. Had a great time as usual, and shot a bunch of bows. Came home with a back quiver from Oklahoma Leatherworks, KC is a great guy and does exceptional work. Made one last stop at the Northern Mist booth, I have a Classic on order now, just can't seem to resist Steve's work.
It was a great show, bought a couple of Asbell items, arrows for my boys, signed books and CDs from the Wensels....
So much going that one couldn't help but feel a little sleepy.....
Sorry Ron, couldn't pass up the opportunity!!!

Great times had by all!!!!
John, you made my weekend!
That picture was posed. I was at Asbell's booth doing a G Fred impersonation. I stuck some of Teresa's wool in my shirt to create the effect.

Add 'model' To your list of life accomplishments.
I knew that was not your hat.......lol
Great time, great show for BCY. Brought a lot more material this year than last, know we need a lot more next year!
It was a great weekend. Thanks to everyone that stopped by our booth to day hi,
Great to see so many friendly faces visit my booth at Kzoo over the weekend. I will have several candids from the event in the Spring issue of TradArchers' World magazine.
It amazing for me to see so many traditional archers in one place. The low population in Western Australia makes it unviable to even think about an event like this.
One day I will get over there for either this or maybe Compton
So glad to see Ron had an undershirt under his button up shirt.
Lord knows what is hibernating in there
My old pal Phil Grable showed up on Saturday. Phil designed and co manufactured the Golden Eagle bow with Ernie Root in the early 1960's. The Golden Eagle bow like the one he is holding shot the first two perfect 300 scores at the International Indoor Open at Cobo Hall in Detroit Michigan.
I met Phil in 1960 when he and I belonged to the same Archery Club. Over the years we shot tournaments together and went on some hunts together. Phil is a year or two older than me and it was great to see him in good health.

That is cool. To me that is what traditional archery is all about.
One of those events that you never forget attending.
Take note of the history on review. It is there from the self bow through the present bowyer, and should be absorbed and renewed.
This event is pure inspiration.

Thank you all, particicipants and reminiscers.
"Kalamazoo" has always been the best! So many good memories - A Trad Blast indeed!!
This is my Golden Eagle that Phil gave me in 1966. A 70" target bow, Gold anodized riser. It has a 3 position knuckle to change the angle of the limbs.
It's a one of a kind prototype and the only one that was ever made like that. Phil told me it was a very rare bow. :dunno:
