As some of you already know I recently brought out a four-hour DVD set that includes highlights of over 700 hours of my own personal bowhunting footage accumulated over fifty years. I know various state bowhunters associations have periodic newsletters and some don't. If your state does have a newsletter I'm looking for who to contact regarding sending them a press release. I've tried several already and I'm having a high percentage of requests sent back as undeliverable/ no longer available. So , if any of you personally know the sect. or newsletter editor of your own state bowhunters association, please have them contact me at barrywensel@hotmail.com. Or even better yet, if the state association happens to do video/DVD reviews I'd be glad to forward a comp DVD for their review. Thank you. BW
Barry if you have problems getting through to New York Bowhunters send me the press release and I will get it to our editor and web guy. Bob bbrown@ur.com
Emailed you SD contact info.
just completed watching mine....you guys that haven't gotten one are really missing out on something special!
Love it, UB
Received mine about a week or so ago, perfect timing as we have been in the deep freeze here with snow and ice.
Hilarious, informative, and some incredible footage of monster whitetails....
I forwarded on your request to our newsletter editor.

Good idea. Not sure why I didn't do that, too. I am now, though!

Hey UB, I know this may be taken the wrong way, but I would gladly have paid $40 at least for a 4 hour 2 disk set of your career information. Even $100 would be a steal of the century. The $25 I paid you makes me feel like I stole something.....and it de-values your work a little in my inds eye. I will buy several more at Madison if your bring some, and give them away to young guys I know just starting out to feel better. Catholic upbringing you know.
Barry, Will you have some for sale at the PBS Banquet in March ?
Thanks for all the positive input. Yes, I am having a vendors booth at PBS in Madison. You don't have to pay the S&H if you pick it up there. General Schwister... I'll have all you want for $100. each. Ha. Thanks guys and gals. bw
if you haven't Indiana Bowhunter Association:

I'm in AZ for a couple of months so I had Barry and a set down here too give me something good to watch in the camper during the evenings.
Now they have arrived and I discovered that the video input jack from the DVD player to the TV is broken off and I can't watch them. Arggh!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Awesome DVD...well worth it....

The male member of the video input jack thingy broke right off inside the TV. Sounds awful, I know.
I haven't been able to figure out how to put a new jack on the end of the cable - can't even find a jack to put on. I've been looking....
I think I need to take the DVD player out and run all new video cable. But that's going to mean some hole drilling and I don't have the stuff I need with me to do that kind of work. And at $100 plus per hour shop rate at an rv repair shop you know I'm too cheap for that...
Your wisdom is on hold for the time being Barry. :dunno:
Okay.. here's some more ideas: Get a really powerful magnet and try to suck the male part out of the female part.
Or a pair of those fine Needle-nose tweezers. Or dental pliars.
Or... a pawnshop unit for ten bucks. Then when you're done you just drop-kick it into the county landfill.
Or See if the local library has a DVD player unit.. freebie.
Or.. a new unit from Wal-Mart's 100% satisfaction guarantee... Always! Ha.
OMG!!! A malfunction with your horse shoe Joe? Boy, your life sure sucks. :biglaugh:
Excuse me while I fetch another box of tissues. this is just too sad. (hey Terry, I need a crying graemlim)
Joe, we have opposite issues. I have a working TV, just no time. Plus my male part still works. . Sorry you hung that one out there.
Thanks Barry for all you have done for bowhunting. For me you are right up there with Fred Bear and some of the other greats of our sport. You have defined the art of bowhunting for me and I greatly appreciate what you have given to our community over the years. I am only 65 years old, but when I grow up I would like to be just like you. Peace
Note: Just ordered my copy of the chronicles, hope it becomes as cherished to me as your other videos have. Thanks again, and may you continue to enjoy Father's blessings upon you and yours. Peace
Thanks Barry, really enjoyed the chronicles. Well done and enjoyed watching the first one the most. Hadn't seen some of those clips in some time. How could I forget the sideways hat and the watermelon?
1st half was very COOL gonna watch 2nd half with my grandson this weekend !!
While waiting for my Chronicles to come in the mail I have gone back and watched October Whitetails I & II and when finished will watch Spirit of the Bow and some others.
Those adventures and antics never get old, thanks again. peace
