Been waiting on this for a few months now could have gotten it sooner however I had the pleasure of going up to his shop and staying there for a few nights as he built it from start to finish. Making the bow to my exact specs, fitted exactly to my hand and narrowed it down a ton and we dropped the shelf right down to my hand. Tillered for 3 under. Riser is BC pacific Yew with a black g10 laminate overlay and reinforcements he made up(also used as the fadeouts (first bow to use) and some clear glass. Gives a nice balanced weight for hunting and target. In the Limbs we got clear glass front and back with 1 tapered yew lam and syntactic foam with a stable core lam between them and yew veneers over the foam. Bolt and tips overlays are stable core and phenolic. We also shortened the limbs an extra 2" than normal made it a 60" which is also not normally done with the longer riser(62 and 64) and it gave the limbs amazing stability and speed. Was getting 2" groups the very first time I got to shot it at the shop at 20 yards. Soon enough after shooting and some adjustments was nailing a small pinecone fairly reliably. Quiet happy :archer2:
Named it yggdrasil as its a yew tree and an mostly all yew wood bow. This is one of em special bows to me now.

Very nice lines! Those string scallops do a nice job.
Very nice!
Very talented bowyer, but a very sore subject for a lot of us that got a raw deal and no explanation.

Love me chucks string scallops. Love my Echo too but too heavy for me since this injury business. I figure everyone needs at least a good 1pc Hill style and a r/d 3 piece.
