All gave some. Some gave all. Take a moment to reflect upon those who are no longer with us.

Helicopter driver.
Went into the Navy 51yr, 37days, and 22 minutes ago, but whos counting.
We need to especially thank those younger generation Vets who volunteered long after there was a draft.
When I was in, saw a lot of young folks lose their atletic talents, give up positions if they were business inclined, and lose their dreams and sometimes thier loved ones too. That word TIME really means something to young folks when they are in the Service. Of course, some didn't make it back and some came back injured. When I was a patient in Navy and Marine hospitals, most of those who were seriously injured never had any negative doubts they about what they did and all thought they would be coming back soon as active folks in our society. Most had the unbelievable optimism of a three legged dog who never thinks he ain't a dog.
This morning, I'm proud my Church is having a breakfast and Vets eat free. I'll be there bacause I appreciate a free meal but I'll be honoring the young'uns who are voluteers in recent times, who set aside their dreams and the most precious TIME of their life - for us.
Thanks younger Vets - Babbling Bob
