I took a few days off leading up to the 31st just to soak in the last few days of the best month that God created IMHO
Friday night I seen the drop tine buck, one that I've been getting regular pics of!

He didn't read the script but was cool to finally lay eyes on him!!!
Saturday night I went to the killin tree but not before we took the "before the hunt pic", it's tradition!

I got in the stand at about 4:30 and by 4:45 I had a doe down!
10 yard shot, she went about 75 yards
I sat the rest of the night and watched as the sun peaked out and lit up the fall colors and had a great encounter with a nice 8 point that was all rutted up....

Also rattled in this little 8 point!

After dark I went and got the boys to help track the doe.
It started slow but it turned into a really good blood trail!

Halloween morning I was sitting the same stand and had a nice coyote come by and she stoped in the same place that I shot the doe, arrow zipped through her and as she crashed off I bet there were 50 squirrels running and barking their heads off :archer:

Ray I first set a stand in this tree in 98' when I was 18.
Since then my brother and I have a combined 6 P&Y bucks and somewhere around 10 other deer takin.
It's a great spot!
I can remember missing 3 bucks in one day out of that tree, that was early on in my hunting years :knothead:
My bow about got thrown out of the tree that day :banghead:
Thats is some awesome pic's and great story on the deers you've kill so far!
