I had two shots at does Wednesday night, the first didn't go so well but I made good on the second!
15 yard shot, went about 80 yards, blood trail was amazing!!!!!

Hay Charlie, the shot was through the area where the heart and lungs meet.
Steep angle at 15 yards, exited just past the sturnam and then passed through the meat of the foreleg.
Fire up the BBQ

You know it's amazing I have twin daughters that grew up on deer meat. BUT till there husbands killed and made meat it didn't click! Now they get it. Better late than never.
