Just got a new-to-me Toelke Whip from the folks over at Nocking Point... Being this is my first foray into the land of longbows... Colour me impressed.
I went into my local pro shop just to get it checked out (and show off a little). One of the main guys didn't want to give it back to me after shooting a few through it.
Walked out with a half dozen Black Eagle Trads with beautiful red and green helical fletchings and I'm set to go.
Special thanks to the guys over at Montana Bows for creating such a great piece (that someone gave up!!!) as well as Terry over at Nocking point for staying all over this shipment and making sure everything arrived in one piece.
Will update with photos when I'm home from work.
Glad you like it, one of my good friends is the poor guy that gave it up. He really liked that bow but has developed shoulder problems so he is having to drop down in weight or he would have never got rid of that bow.
Glad you are happy Kevin, that is one of those bows that not only shoots great ,but has a lot of eye candy to it.Appreciate your business!
Terry
My condolences to your friend Jason!
That piece is a slick shooter and luckily I am still young enough I still have many decades of shooting left in my life.
Rest assured, I will treasure that piece like it deserves!
I've always had a great experience with Terry @ The Nocking Point. Always have things I need and there to answer questions...
Awesome! I bought a used BW from Terry this year. A great guy to deal with and we had some good phone conversations. Welcome to the world of Trad and good luck.
