Well, got to get the new Bear Takedown out for a couple of sits and scouting some new spots. The way Ft Benning manages their compartments you need to have lots of options. I did have one doe bust out of the brush across the creek from me and tear off. Since I was confident that I wasn't a part of her problem, I sat with anticipation to see what was behind her, but alas, it was just me and the squirrels. Its early in the season so I wasn't expecting too much anyway, but I did find a run of old hardwoods not far from a kudzu-choked bedding area.
Mostly though, I was out there for me. With my current problems, my therapist even suggested some time alone in the woods. Even my wife likes the idea, haha. For each 4-5 hour sit I did not experience one single Chronic-PTSD associated panic attack, so that counts for something. Looking forward to a great season, good luck to everyone!
