Hey guys. I'll keep this short and to the point but after careful consideration and lots of prayer I have decided to continue taking orders and building the TT's bows. The outpouring of support that was shown for me and wishes for success at other opportunities really helped to show me how special this group of people is and that not being a part of it was something I couldn't handle. Thanks to everyone for your support and helping me to make the right decision. Good luck this fall.
Brian
Think you just made a whole bunch of people very happy!! You build some great bows maybe one day I'll have one myself!
Best news I've had all day.

Glad you found a way to work this out. Even though your "stock" bows are far from stock it is nice to get exactly what you want. Long live the TallTines!

Now we just need to delete that other thread LOL
This turn of events definitely has motivated me to give you a call Brian, just as soon as this hurricane is over and done and we clean up after it.
Best news I've heard in a long time!!!!! Thank goodness I just put an order in.
That's great news Brian! Thanks a lot for continuing on. I am really excited for my new Stickflinger and counting down the days. Pictures of your Bow's that have been posted here are true beauties, you have a great eye for picking and blending woods.
Thanks again,
Steve Jr
Now that is good news.
I am sure that was a very tough decision, actually two tough decisions.
You are definitely a gifted bowyer and I am glad you are still going to be creating those beautiful bows! I was lusting after the bow you made for a certain Canadian. But he would not let it go.
Best to you,
Gary
That's awesome good to hear
So very happy to hear that you're continuing to put those skills to good use! This thread will make lots of people happy.

Monday had been going straight down the crapper until I saw this! I am going to start driving for Uber or something so I can get a new bow ordered!!!
That's great news Brian! I love the TT you built for me and it would be a shame if you stop building bows. Keep up the good work and Godspeed to you!
Kenny :clapper:
Good deal. Now I gotta get the bow fund built back up. :biglaugh:
Whew! I sure am glad to hear/read this!
And to think all it took was one rear naked choke to make him change his mind!

:jumper: :jumper: :jumper: :jumper: :jumper:
Great news! Glad you had a change of heart!
Good choice Brian glad to hear your back at it i will be calling you!
Good to hear. It's never fun to loose craftsmen like yourself within the community that not only do fantastic work but also are first class gentlemen.
Great!!
  :clapper:
Thank the lord! Good news Brian. Good luck this fall bud!
Great News! Glad you changed your mind.
Whew! That certainly is great news. Although Brian would have built stock bows, he is far too gifted of a craftsman, and a superlative bowyer to simply build a few stock bows. Life as a part time or full time bowyer isn't the most profitable, but it sure is a demonstration of gifted hands and beautiful results from one's effort. I have ordered quite a few, even let a few go, and retained some of my TT favorites...and still on Brian's list because he builds a fine bow. I hope those that want to order a TT really do follow thru, and support Brian's decision to stick with his craft and ensure all who want to try one get to do so. Well worth it!
Brian is your site down?
I'm on his website now.

There's just something about you and "rear naked choke" that just makes me want to throw up a little bit in my mouth
You have my respect. Anyone who can stop, listen, and then turn back the other way is a good man at heart. Thanks for sharing and caring. God bless you.
Looking forward to owning one of your bows in the Future! Great news
