Hello, Captain here, Yes, Yes, say 20:00 tonight at H&H rear parking lot, click.
It was Sniper on the other end of the phone detailing out the mission plans and what objectives would be needed to measure success.
Scout who was tending to some charity work, earlier approved, though me as the Supreme Leader of Frog Relocation Operation Group (F.R.O.G) had provided his scouting report.
And had passed on his logistic concordance needed for tonights mission to Sniper.
Together Sniper, Scout and me as the Captain of the Team make up F.R.O.G!

Back in June of this Year the team was alerted to Hope's arrival (See St. Jude thread). And we looked forward to unleashing her awesome powers on the local Viet Frog pockets of resistance.
But God had other desires for us and the team never were able to fulfill a mission.
One the rivers and waterways in our area of operations have been inundated with biblical proportions of rain this year. And with the rain came the rising flood tables.
So most of our area have been unreachable. So what does the world most sophisticated F.R.O.G do?
We find another way around....

Since Photo Bucket has robbed us of our pictures from previous post I think its in order to refresh everyone who makes up the F.R.O.G Team.
I as Supreme Leader and Captain of the Team

Together we form the F.R.O.G team whose sole mission in life is to eradicate the dreaded Viet Frogs from their pockets of resistance wherever their found.
At 20:00 I turn in to H&H Gas station and move to the back parking lot where Sniper is waiting.
We gather his equipment and gear that will be used in tonight mission.
As a team we favor Traditional bow whether it is Recurves or Longbow they are deadly and silent.
As stated earlier I had granted Scout leave of absent due to some charity work he was involved in.
One of our goals is to allow the public a small view into what we do in hopes that we pick up a young recruit here and there.
This has not always worked out as last years mission with a young recruit proved.
We had enlisted one rookie that appeared to be team worthy, but alas Johnny "Deadeye" Kinard proved to be a dud.
We headed out on route 63 due north and then west on grain elevator road and then south to Bone Yard lake.

To be continued...
At the turn in to the upper Pascagoula WMA we stopped and addressed the Foward Operation Base (FOB) and based on Scouts calculations how far from the Point of action (POA).
We eased down the road until we came to a washed out section of road with a pretty good current flowing through.
Sniper grunted "Now What?" As in to say another obstacle!
And the verbal expression of the frustration he was feeling was not without merit. We've had nothing but one setback after another.
Rain day in and day out throughout this summer, Everyday for a solid 2 and a half months!
And the river basin has been at some level of flood stage the entire time making our normal entry into the Vietnam Frogs impossible....
With the water ways being what they have been FLOODED it has left the team high and dry without a way to get in to the POA.

But where there's a will there's a way. When one of our very own was in distress due to flooding I found a way in to extract.

So here we sat at a crossroad, risk loosing another opportunity to defeat the Viet Frogs are chance a perilous high water crossing?
I directed Sniper out of the Field Command Vehicle (FCV) and into the raging waters just ahead of the vehicle ever so slowly I followed behind his signals till we were safe again on solid ground.
We continued down the road till we entered the POA and after disembarking and gearing up. We headed in.
Suddenly bright lights flashed and shots were fired and a sustained battle raged what seems like days but only amounted to a couple hours...
When we wearily made our way back to the vehicle we silently stowed our gear, loaded up the enemy combatants, climbed in and drove off heading back to the FOB.
Somewhere along the way Sniper or perhaps me muttered a word of prayer for divine deliverance and silently kept driving....

LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Thanks Terry! Hope your days going good.
Love this thread!!!
Hope the water recedes so you can get deeper into enemy territory!!
Based on the pics......It appears one was captured alive. Was he interrogated for intel?
Brad,
Yes, if you double click the last pic (ice chest) you would see in the surveillance video that one of these vile transformational creatures is making a jail break.
And we've have vays to make them croak
good stuff! not sure i agree with the "dud" part, but hey, artistic license and stuff, hahaha!
Johnny, you have to be tough to be a member of F. R. O. G
And this is one of the reasons your still in probation with the team.
Never question the Supreme Leader
All I can say is the enemy better have their game on Friday night as I'm breaking out my finest munitions. High water can merely prolong fate. THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!!
It has been made aware to me that my words were "Harsh" towards one Rookie recruit eh hmmm...
Although I normally follow my instincts in this case I have listen to my team and somewhat reluctantly decided to rephrase my critique of one Johnny "Deadeye" Kinard.
Let's just say I expect more from him in future F. R. O. G team adventures
haha! the Supreme Leader has exacting standards, guys. he makes S.E.A.L.s training look like child's play. i will say i nailed the first frog i ever took aim at (and the first fish).
but, as they say, if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough!
:scared:
Deadeye the team is mobilizing tonight on a short notice hostage situation.
F. R. O. G headquarters has alerted us and no time to get everyone together so we have recruited an older ruffian type.
One Phil "Tails" Crothers. He's called "Tails" due to his long pony tail some say. But I think it's from rumors I've heard of his ruthless nature to cut off the tails of young poly wogs.
Just the type of recruit we need for such a missions as this.
To be continued....
Well... the new recruit "Tails".. hasn't quite got the big picture
Were you gonna wait on some other day to tell the GANG we couldn't hit a barn door that night? Good part is we can go back if Harvey shows some mercy and try all those that skunked us :banghead:
Scout ah hmmm....I wasn't going to tell everyone about your shooting deficiencies on a public forum, but since the cats out of the bag.
Scouts shooting was horrendous
uh, oh! Dissension in the ranks?! looks like some fellas might need to go back to Basic, haha!
Either the high water or lack of clean water makes you guys a bit on the hinky side of normal...or 1/4 bubble off level, for sure and certain...
But always, always...entertaining!
I'm a 1/4" bubble off Supreme is 3 french fries short of a Happy meal!
Doc,
Well thank you man we take that as a compliment!
And I almost decided to drive up to PA for the Sawmill shoot the weekend of Sept. 9-10, 2017, but the amount of time to do it would require more $$ and time then I have at the moment.
