Title: Make that ILF hunting bow quieter—maybe.
Post by: on August 18, 2017, 04:40:00 PM
Sipsey River told me to try liquid electrical tape for limb tip protection for my Uukha limbs. Well... I did, and it works perfectly.

I saw how this stuff worked and it got me to thinking. I wondered how it would do on those contact places--the limb butt under the limb bolt and the rocker.

So... I tried it. Don't get me wrong, my bows were hunting quiet--I thought. But this little bit of material on those contact areas made the bow a LOT quieter and may have taken out some vibration too. I could tell a noticeable difference.

I don't know yet about durability, but it doesn't matter because it will be so easy to just touch it up if needed.

Just thought I'd pass this little tidbit along. You may want to try it too.
