I didn't know if I would like this bow in all bocote when I purchased it, but I must say I'm a fan!

Beautiful! I've also heard that having bocote limb veneers also adds a smidgen to the performance of the bow.
Interesting, Dave. I didn't know that. I will say that it's a screamer!
Beautiful bow! Have always wanted to try a Fatal Styk..
That's a beauty. Fatal Styks have a great grip and very quiet. I'm curious which you like better? That or the Wallace? For me it's the Wallace.
Love bocote!

The Wallace will arrive by Thursday, so I will be able to make a comparison. I don't know how fast the Styk is shooting, but I'm pretty sure it's faster than my Blacktail. Both bows are very close in weight.
That is a beauty. Always been a fan of dark wood with lots of grain.>>>----> Ken
Beauty....love the fatal styk, it's such a great shooting and quiet bow
The grain on your Limbs is very similar to my Robertson Peregrine. Sharp looking Bow ya got there, congrats!
Very nice! I had a Vision Falcon in Bocote a few years back, great bows and great bowyer.
That's a beautiful bow Dennis. Hope it shoots well for you.

Talk about feeding the habit--another great looking bow. Would like like to hear how this shoots compared to the Wallace when it arrives.

Yes, it is. I've been wanting to try these recurves to find the one I like the most. After I shoot them, I will have a better idea how they stack up for me, and I will, most likely, sell one or more of the bow(s) that don't agree with me. I probably won't be able to give a comparison until early September because of conflicting obligations on my time. I'll let you know.
Looks great! I have a all Bacote Recurve I believe it was just before he started the vision series that I bought from Dick at Cloverdale back in the 90s. It's a Awesome bow, at #60 my son is the one shooting it these days. Robertson's are fantastic Bows

While you are buying to try, make sure that you try a Fox High Sierra which is a fantastic bow that for some reason doesn't get as much attention as some of the others. It's too bad that you aren't left handed, you'll be letting go of some good stuff down the road for right handers.
That's a beauty. I have a Tribal Styk in Zercote and Myrtel on order.
