Post by: Jessebeaux on July 16, 2017, 11:52:00 PM
Hi all,

Super pumped - just paid my Big Jim Thunderchild deposit and can't wait till next year but before Jim calls I want to have some wood choices picked out. Can yall post your Big Jim bow pictures and identify your wood selection to help me out?!

For my first Thunderchild I sent Jim wood from my property here in Riley IN. Plum, black oak and mulberry. Also sent was mahogany from my uncle and teak from my brother. There are plenty of prettier bows around, none could possibly have more meaning to me. Just a sentimental old fart I guess... (http://i.imgur.com/spM3xeu.jpg)

Jesse your post pushed me over the edge, just sent in my deposit as well. I've been researching short take-downs for many months now.......let the long wait begin!!!

Big Jim has wonderful woods.
Anything you will choose will be outstanding!

How do I know? I have some of the Gentle Giant bows.

Photobucket is not helping me posting pics
