Went to a 3/D with a bunch of guys and shot the whole 30 target course........LEFT HANDED !!! I had a few misses but all in all I did pretty darn good. Shot a lefty 15" ILF riser with Dyrad Static tip limbs, 2016 alum. arrows with 125 up front. I have shot right handed for 55 years but I'm left eye dominate. I have practicing to keep myself physically balanced and thought if I ever get hurt I can still shoot with the other hand.....I guess I can.
Congrats! I've been thinking about shooting some left handed. I have a Golden Bear longbow that can be shot either way...
Good idea!
I am also right handed and left eye dominate but can shoot any weapon either handed. I switched form right to left and back to right handed shooting wheels. I will eventually get a left handed trad bow and give that a try.
Did I just read a bunch of right handed bows will be for sale soon? nice! lol, I bet that was fun!
Nice!
I don't think I could do it! Good for you!
Bisch
Nice! For me, shooting with both hands keeps my lower back from getting all tight. I haven't tried 3D left-handed, though. Good job!
Great going Ron !!!!
I went over twenty yrs wo a whitetail buck switched to left hand due to strong dominate eye and got 3 bucks in 4 yrs. I could shoot fine right handed in my backyard cuz I was so familiar with that scene. When I got in woods and new situation I shoot terrible, I was subconsciously making adjustments in backyard due to repetitions. After one day I could shoot better lefty. I may be unique due to BIG difference in eyes, that said, just ask yourself why would a guy not shoot with dominant eye?
When I started shooting at 10 years of age who knew what a dominate eye was. I was right handed and I was given a right handed fiberglass bow and arrows from Western Auto. So now I'm 65, I'll still shoot righty but will also go lefty on a daily routine.......just to stay balanced and ready if I need to switch. It's like teaching the old dog new tricks.......lol. Plus I have a bunch of right handed bows.
