Great as if i don't need anymore wool lol!!! I love their wool clothing and now i can't wait to see them bibs. Looks like i will have to add them to my wool collection.
In April you talked about her coming out with wool PANTS....did she ditch that for bibs?

She absolutely will have several pair at Denton Hill

No.
She's been working on her bibs for quite awhile. I believe she will have pants, but the bibs are first.
What is the wool weight?
Well here they are!!! Dang Teresa, you nailed it! These bibs are awesome, way beyond my expectations. Nice heavy wool, well thought out pockets, quality suspenders with quiet attachments......unbelievable. I hope you like sewing these Mrs. Asbell, because you are going to make a bunch of these! Awesome! Tradgnag Crew, check them out at Denton Hill. They will go quick.

I'll be looking forward to the review on these, look like they'll be perfect to keep you warm on a cool night on stand.
Jason
Those look great, just may have to try a pair
WOW!! Blanket weight?? Cost??
Look AWESOME!!
Any thoughts on when they will be available on the website?

any idea what the retail will be?
I just got some bibs from an outfit called RoundHouse Jeans, i followed the fit directions and on their advice added a bit to make room for a heavy shirt or wool sweater. I could fit two of me inside them. I sent a picture to my son and he sent me back a picture of the umpalumpas.

Awesome!! Well done Teresa!!
Nice post Roger. Great pics!!

looks good Roger
Hahaha nice!
Those look awesome.
Teresa set out about 8 pair of these yesterday at Denton. I tried a pair on and was really impressed with them. 6 pockets all located in the right spots. Nice adjustment and attachment on the straps. I thought they were really well priced for the show (I think they'll probably go up a bit once she flooded with orders) and walked away with a pair of Olive Drab for $98. The gray were a little heavier wool and went for $125. I was with two friends of mine and they both bought a pair. One in the olive and one gray. They're well sized also. I would normally be looking at a large but the medium fit me well with room to spare. One of my buddies thought for sure he would need an XL but the large fit him nicely.
Teresa is very open to any suggestions as well but she's pretty much nailed it with these bibs. She is such a pleasure to talk to and really wants to see you walk away happy with the product.
If you're in the market for some new bibs don't pass up a look at these.
I stared at them for a long while this morning at ETAR, but passed, purely a financial decision because I was low on funds. There was one pair there that seemed to be a heavier wool (which I would have wanted), but was in medium. After reading that they run a bit roomy, I really wish I would have tried them on and I'm now thinking about going up there tomorrow morning to purchase them. Should have struck while the iron was hot.
Anybody know if the Asbell will be at Elm Hall??
Does anybody know if the Asbell 's will be at Elmhall??
Would be cool if she could do some in a retro style camo pattern.
I hope she sells so many they have to bring on additional people to keep up with the orders.
This can be nothing but awesome for the hunting community. I hope they're able to continue on without having to raise prices.
These seem to be excellent products and within most any hunters price range.

They won't have a booth, but they should be there on Saturday just hanging around.
Still no price point or availability info ??
I got to see the wool bibs at the GLLI last weekend. All I can say is WOW! (https://blogs.nottingham.ac.uk/studentlife/files/2013/02/shocked_face-150x150.jpg)
I ordered a pair in the heavy gray. I think I might order the zippered jacket as well that way I'll be sure to be snug and warm in the late season.
Teresa has really outdone herself with these bibs, zippered pockets galore and they are priced very reasonably
I want to order these, but I do not want this to happen again. I would like to see some pictures.

I'll definitely be purchasing a couple pair of these to match the new pullovers I purchased this year at the Compton event. Great work Teresa!
Pavan, what are we supposed to be seeing?

Good question. I'm trying to figure that out myself. I'm thinking....short? or Large opening at side?
Any idea on if or when the bibs would be available online and what patterns and weights would be available? I would very much like a pair.
Any update on when these will be available?
I think mine will be mailed out tomorrow. :jumper:
Looking forward to when they will be available on the web.
Nice...! I have one of her pullovers... Quality and would love to add a set of bibs as well. Will check the website
I got my wool bibs from Teresa just in time. I'm leaving for Shrew Haven in a week. We usually get some pretty cold weather up there by the end of October but I'll be snug and warm in my wool.
These bibs are awesome with plenty of pockets and zippers. :jumper:
Sorry, that's the best picture I could take as a selfie with no one to take it for me. :D

Dang Ron, those make you look slim and trim...maybe I should get some 8-)
You should get a pair, it's easier to wear clothes that make you look slim than it is to lose weight.. :biglaugh:
Nothing about them on their website yet :banghead:
Any idea of pricing or availability?
I just talked to Teresa, check her site later this afternoon for details on ordering the wool bib's.

Here they are...and they're on sale. :saywhat:

I have never wished for cold weather before
But I am.....I can't wait to wear mine.
Will there be other color options, such as timber ghost or evening stand green/brown or... ???
This morning was the first time I was able to put my bibs to work. It was 35 degrees this morning.
I got in my tree about 6:50....waiting for shooting light at 7:40'ish.
For as much outdoor winter stuff as i do, I am a wuss with regards to cold.
Not this morning :bigsmyl:
I wore some light longjohns, thin wool socks, my Asbell bibs, a wool sweater, and an Asbell pullover. For boots I just wore my knee high rubber boots. Stormy Kromer on my head.
I headed out to my Back Breaker Stand...my favorite stand site during the rut, but I NEED to change the stand. Uncomfortable as heck.
I sat from 6:50 until about 11:00....absolutely warm. The Asbell bibs are light and roomy enough for hiking and climbing (the Back Breaker is not a simple tree to climb), but with enough substance to keep me warm as toast.
The pockets are perfect. I actually left my haversack behind, I was able to put the mornings possibles in my pockets with no problem.
Absolutely great work Teresa!
I passed on a small 6 and a doe...no blood on the bibs yet :archer:

I stopped at Jays Sporting Goods on the way north to camp and discovered that Stormy Kromer has a gray wool hat that matches the gray of my Asbell wool. :jumper:

Gotta love the Asbell wool . I have one of her vests and it's wonderful .
