Title: bow test drive
Post by: toddster on July 13, 2017, 03:05:00 PM
I am in the market for a new bow, more of a hybrid.  I was wondering what bowyer offer's a test drive bow?  I know Dwyer does, with credit card, which is understandable.  Any one else?

Robertson Stykbow used to offer test drives, I'm not sure if Dick still does or not. His website is currently under construction however.

If Toelke offers a test drive and you want a hybrid and you want it in time for this season, Dan and Jered are your men! I just got a Toelke Lynx Longbow and I couldn't be happier! Less than six weeks from ordering it to having it in my hand! Fast, quiet, and beautiful! All three of my toelke's have the locator grip and for me anyways, it's the best grip out of all the bows I've owned or shot!

Rocky Mountain specialty gear has a ton of different bows to choose from.  Pick one try it out for a week and if you don't like it return it and your out only shipping.

The Elkheart Javaman Gregg Coffey sent me was unbelievable. I shed a tear when I sent it back, now I have a 9 month wait for mine.

I just found out that Dan will let you test drive a bow.  But it will probably cost you in the long run.

Dan is slick   :saywhat:   When I called him to enquire he said "sure we have test bow, but the way I like to do it is build it to your spec's that way you get to test it at your specification".

I'm telling you he is slick!  So I say "why do I get the feeling talking to you is gonna cost me money"   :goldtooth:

He says "send me your spec's and pic's of the grip you like"  I had mentioned that I had a bow that I really like the grip on AND he say "no problem I can do that"

So today after not sleeping all weekend thinking about this "TEST BOW" I make some changes to the list of details and send to Dan.

He response back saying "I can do everything except for one thing"  It was some tip overlays I mentioned if possible.

So now i'm thinking theres a bow being started and not long it will be on my door step and I probably won't have the will power to send it back.

I'm telling you ol Dan is slick   :biglaugh:
