Heard about this, but have yet to see pic's, or hear details. Nothing on their website. Just a rumor ?
I saw it on their instagram page.
Not a rumor
Not a rumor that it exists but rumor has it that a lot of them may get gobbled up by dealers.
Didn't they auction one of these off at Compton (or Cloverdale)? Anyone know what it brought?
I have placed my order.
So what's gonna be limited about this one? Woods? Presentation case? Norm Johnson building it? LOL
African Bubinga riser and waterfall limb veneers. Maple core. Limited to 250 for each model. If you get one this year, you have first option on next year's model of the same serial number. Subsequent models are believed to be the Super K, KMag, and the 59er Kodiak.
The medallion will be a scrimshaw coin vs. the brass coin. A compass will be in the stock, ahem,
riser (don't shoot your eye out).

The one auctioned at Compton went for around 4k, I believe. Not sure on that.
Neil Byce III (sp?) is supervising this and calling all the shots.
Available only in 40, 45, 50, and 55#.
Big Jim can help with ordering as can 3Rivers. All Bear dealers are supposed to be able to help with ordering.
WOW what a beauty! I wish they put that level of attention (or a more modest version of it) into some of the production bows LOL. Man that one there sure is a looker.
Thats purty
I hope they put a decent string on this one
Nice to see it wasn't a rumor. What's the price tag on this ?

Suggested retail $1599
We can get them for you at Lost Nation Archery, but only if you call ASAP and if they are not all gone. They will only be making 250. Ordering ends 7/14!
The dealor a lot mentioned will be decided after tomorrow. All dealers have a chance to order what they want. After tomorrow, Bear will have to scale back the request because they will likely be over sold. Orders can be
Orders can be placed with dealers after this date as well.
The bows are actually macassar risers with waterfall bubinga veneers.
First B risers with #1 limbs.
Then you will have first right to the same serial number the following year if you Chand so on. Second year is A riser and #3 limbs followed by the 59'er and lastly the super Kodiak.
Yes, I will have a bunch. Yes I am taking orders. Yes I have sold several.
And if I could post pictures I would show you how good the wood looks in it's raw form.
I'm sending another pallet of the sweetest macassar you've ever seen there tomorrow.
BigJim
One was auctioned at Compton this June. It was a real beauty and if I remember right it went for over 3,000.00. 3 Rivers Archery bought it, they do a lot to support Compton.
im on the list too.
Nice stick! I've always maintained Bear should incorporate clear glass and attractive veneers in most of there builds as that's what the majority of shooters choose, from my experience.
That riser looks like Macassar Ebony to me, which would be a lot better than Bubinga.

It is. Big Jim supplied the wood to them. More info is out now. In other words, "The cat is out of the bag!"
Although I favor the brass coin over the scrimshaw coin.
$1600.00, seriously.
I would like to be interested in buying one, but I can't at that price.
Beautiful bow, but I wont pay that. I just bought the regular T/D, and am happy with it. I am changing the string though...
1599$ wow rediculous. That's up there with top end wheelie bows.
I mean that's just insane. I appreciate the work put into it but man!

Well, I tried to snatch that beauty, but got beat out at $4,000 by another. Though I did walk away with a hog hunt for two in Florida.

Working out being able to order it online (says sold out right now), but should have that resolved soon. Call in your orders if interested. No one have serial numbers assigned yet. Should be soon though. Right now you are signing up for your spot to pick a serial number. No charge to your card, but it would be authorized (sets your funds aside, still in your bank though).
Anybody got an update on when the bows will ship to the dealers? I am on the list for a 50lb right hand.
