Can somebody fill me in on getting spare Limbs for my Hoyt Gamemaster? It's the original if that matters, I'd prefer to buy new rather than used but don't know where to start or not sure if their even being made still being an older model bow.
I think you'd have to talk to a Hoyt dealer to find out. In the dealings I have had with Hoyt, they are kind of funny in not dealing with customers. For example, if you need warranty work a dealer will have to provide a repair number or something before the item is accepted. I don't believe you can call Hoyt up an place an order unless you are an authorized dealer.
I had the same response from Hoyt, in other words none. Wanted some limbs back in the late 90's for a game master? But when I asked our dealer he said the bow was discontinued and no limbs available.
You could buy really any ILF limb and swap the bushing and use them on your riser.
Don't think you could get new limbs from Hoyt for the gamemaster since they discontinued it
Another option is having riser converted to ILF. Advantage is you have many limbs to choose from from quite a few manufacturers. Loc Do over on TradTalk does them. Not sure how much?
Yes,any ilf limb will bolt on with a simple bushing swap. Gives you countless options.
I've heard of the ILF but not very familiar with it however I like the idea. Does anybody over here know how to go about doing it or price?
I had one done by him. I honestly can't remember how much I paid for him to convert it to ILF. I just painted the riser today and mounted a set of ******** longbow limbs on it
