I was looking through some harvest photos the other day and I realized this is my tenth season hunting with a trad. bow. I think this is pretty cool since I'm only 26 anything you do for ten years seems like a long time lol. My plan is to get a longbow and try to take a deer with one. I've never hunted with a longbow but they seem like the quintessential thing to trad hunt with. Also I'm going to try to only hunt trad this year and see if I can stick with it all season through turkey season when Hope comes to my house!
A few more years under your collar and ten will seem like a few days. Have fun and enjoy the journey-its a lifetime addiction.
Congrats on your journey. If you wouldn't mind, please share some of your achievements and disappointments; your success' and failures; plus any additional comments regarding your decision to go trad.
I will be 68 tomorrow and I began this journey back in 1965. Still love it today.

I will try to add to this thread when k have more time I know the highlights are a small six pointer and a coyote and the low point was not finding a pope and young buck on public land in the rain.
