shooting 2018's at 29
50 lbs Savannah at 28 with FF
Drawn to 28
what do you recommend for tip weight?
I would start with 125 grain and 145 grain field points and see which flies best.
You might be a tad stiff with 125-145 ... I used to shoot 2018's out of a 55# bow and cut them at 29 1/2 with 125-145 heads.
2018's are great shafts
some people have told me 190-200 grain?
Might be worth the extra time and cash to invest in a couple FP test kits from 3Rivers. Another possibility is ask your buddies if they would loan you a few different ones to try. Just a thought.

I agree. I shoot 2016s, cut to 30", with 145gr points out of my #50@28 longbow, and draw just over 28".
Try 175 screw in..
175 gr. would have been my guess.
175 to 200 should be very close. From experience I've had with similar bow setups.
I shoot 2018's off of a 55 pound Howard Hill. I draw 28 1/2" and cut my arrows 29 1/2" A 175 grain point and they fly and bare shaft excellent.

125 up to Whatever bare shaft tests
