Short notice guys. The third annual Mid-Penn Iron Bear traditional Archery shoot is right around the corner. June 17th in Kratzerville, Pa. One hour north of Harrisburg, Pa.
The previous two years have been successful and the addition of the "Iron Bear" course has been quite popular. We have a nice challenging 30 shot course designed to please all shooters..!!! Then we have the single arrow "Iron Bear" course. It consists of 8 foam bears...set in challenging shot positions. What's the catch..?? You have one arrow...hit the bear, get the score. Miss the bear...you have one minute to find your arrow or you're disqualified. Break your and its the same fate. Winner is the high score and is awarded a nice prize.GRAND FUN..!!
So come support a nice club for a day of fun..!!!

Hey John can't wait . Sounds like a great time
Best course I ever shot. Great time.
Come on out and support a small local club that has really been growing the last couple years. Really nice wooded course, and the "iron bear" is quite a challenge. This is a big fundraiser for us, so join us for some good shooting and good food. I haven't been able to make any shoots lately, so I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends.
This is a good one, but unfortunately I will miss it. Heading out on a family vacation that day.
Have fun guys!!!!
Less than a week gents....see you there
I can't wait!!! What a great lil shoot with a well setup 30 target course. Also the Iron Bear course added last year is a blast! The club serves up some good eats!
Jackdaw...see you guys Sat.
Jsweka...have fun on the family vac!
Only 3 days to go.....exciting. .!! Come have a great day of shooting this Saturday....
Set up this morning, ready to roll saturday! Weather forecast is looking pretty good.
Well, AM rain put a little damper on the turnout. Only about 20 regestered shooters, but everyone seemed to have a good time. The first group through found several targets torn apart by a bear the night before. Thanks guys for setting them back up. Thanks to everyone who came out, you regulars were missed! How many would be interested if next year we made it a two day shoot with primitive camping on site?
