I do. Mine is awesome. Great little bow.
Airdale it's jims new 50's style recurve
I concur with Drew except, I do not have one on order. If I was looking for another bow however, I would probably get on the list for one.

here is Dendy's bow
Was fortunate to see one at the TN Classic.
A most attractive bow an alluring Big Jim design. The one I saw was left handed as I assuredly would have requested an opportunity to run an arrow thru her,
I really wish I had not seen this thread.....
Hey Tim me to
Sure are nice looking bows. Is he offering it in a two peice?
Yes- a 2 piece much like the Buffalo and Thunder Child. The system is very convenient.
he sure does
That lefty at TN classic was awesome an MO was very happy with it when it went home with him .
Friend it was great to meet you , Drew
Bid on the St. Judes bow build by Jim, win it and have him build you one. I bet you will make a bunch of people happy , including yourself.
God bless, Steve

Congrats Matty!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm on the list for January for a thunderchild but I won the other bow for the st Jude's auction. I think my st Jude's will be a thunderchild and the wait list will be this recurve

Likewise. Mikolay87 I won't the other one in auction #2. this bow will be in my plan as well...very excited
Just placed an order for a highly anticipated Big Jim Mountain Monarch.
Your gonna love it Scott
Can't wait for mine :)

Love the fifties style recurves. I've got a '55 and'59 Kodiak and a '59'r clone from John Mccullough. There's a great reason why today's bowyers are still making this style of bow_stylish performance.
Had the opportunity to run some arrows thru a Mountain Monarch last weekend at the World's.
Very nice shooting experience and even with mismatched arrows the groups were tight at 20 yards.
Anticipate when mine own arrives next year she will see plenty of action.
I want one!

WOW!!!!
I shot one this weekend at Denton Hill. Really really really nice bow.
Jim what was the grip like ?
Dang those are nice
Jt85, the grip was a typical 59er grip with beaver tail on it. I never cared for the looks of beaver tail and was the first one I shot. But I liked the feel of it. The grip felt real nice. The bow was smooth and dead in the hand. It was a 2 piece and I didn't find that out til I was done shooting it. Big Jim can build a bow!
