Post by: Pine on May 28, 2017, 01:20:00 PM
Yeah , I have a four day weekend and no particular things that need doing .
I have a knife that needs a sheath so , great little relaxing project to do .    :knothead:
I had traced the new piece bass ackwards !
Well , new day and a new piece again , ( did it right this time ) and .....
Wish my wife would stop laughing at me every time she looks at me .

I know your pain. Was going to order parts for a bamboo fly rod I am making. Realized I set my planning form to the finished size (all 6 strips glued together) not for each strip.

I'm really surprised too because I'm perfect and don't make mistakes .

Graps, I got a tee shirt that says that! But my screw up goes beon not "thinking". It seems I cut the groove to deep so will never get it close enough for .035 taper.
So after pondering on it and weather I can remake my homemade wood form I spent my "bow and arrow" money on a professionally made steel form. Oh well, I did not need those new super recurve limbs anyway.
Well on the bright side it's 100+ degrees outside so should get caught up on a few other projects.
