Rick
My signed copy that I got in 1986 reads, "Ron- It was great to finely meet you at the Mich Longbow shoot. Good luck and many happy campfires!
Jay Massey"
Jay spent a weekend at my house when he and I shared booth space at the Anderson Bowhunters Clinic in 1987. All of Jays books are a must read.

My signed copy was lent to a friend that moved out of state and took my book with him. I would sure like to have it back.
Ron, That picture brings back memories. I have a copy that I had Jay sign at the Anderson BowHunters Clinic in 1987. I need to p re-read it, it has been a long time.
Great Stuff Guys!!!
I met Dick Robertson, Jay Massey and Fred ASBELL at one of those late 80's Michigan Longbow Association shoots while attending with Ron LaClair. Some great, great people and such a wealth of knowledge. Bowhunting Alaska's Wild Rivers is one of my favorites.
Send me your mailing info Terry. Looking at it right now.
I love my copy and have enjoyed anything I've gotten my hands on by Mr. Massey. I wish I had gotten the chance to meet him. I need to read some of his other books but they sure are pricy!
It, like all, will eventually be available in Kindle format and I'll read it...if I'm not dead and gone, lol! They better realize who their market is before they wait too long....just sayin'. Nobody that knows me would ever accuse me of being a technoweenie...nor a tree hugger. But trees are good...more habitat for deer and turkeys. I'd vote to do away with golf courses and cemeteries and turn them into hunting refuges! If that makes me a bunny hugger, so be it. We need more of them, because I eat them too. My better half, to her credit, got my knuckles up off the ground long enough to put her hand-me-down Kindle in them and now I don't need any Xanax after the season closes, lol. I've already gone through Tom Kelly's works.
P.S. My wife was at the salon this week and her "stylist" was complaining about her husband's truck and my wife mentioned that I drive a Prius. She became lightheaded and responded in shock with..."is your husband a liberal"? After they had revived my wife from oxygen deprivation from laughing too hard, she assured her that, "no, I was just cheap, low-balled my sister on her company car and got it for my work commute because it gets 40 plus mpg. My wife further assured her that I'd be the last person on earth that she'd catch in a "safe place" transitioning to a liberal! I also have a truck, but I look at the gas needle much less when the deer are in the back of that Prius and the ones I kill fit back there just fine, thank you very much! My next one's gonna be Predator camo. :bigsmyl:
