just wondering if anyone makes one?
there's a few 3 blade glue on machined BH's but i haven't been able to find a 2 blade yet.
I believe this is what you are searching for:

Hope that helps,

The Ribteks are one piece as well..not machined but stamped. Can buy a few in Australia still if you search. I bought a hundred or more of the 160 and 190 heads to get me through the unavailability... I HOPE. LOL (http://www.broadheads.de/Bilder/bowpics/Broadheads/Collection/Ribtek190_E9841_400.jpg)
RMSG Cutthrots are machined 2 blade. Been useing 160gr glue on for a while, picked up some new 190s earlier this year but have not tried them yet. Sure do sharpened great..
Thought VPA came out with a machined 2 blade?
I don't know if Simmons are machined, but I sure do like them!!! Love the BIG holes!
Good luck, shoot straight and God Bless,
Rodd
Tuffhead...see their add at the top of the page
I believe the VPA 2 blades are all screw in heads.
2x on the rmag cutthroat
X2 on the cutthroat broadheads built like a tank!!
Cuttthroat broadheads for me too. The dent to the right of the Cutthroat was made by a popular name-brand broadhead that disintegrated into shards when it hit the steel. Cutthroats available in glue-on and screw-in models and various weights.

thanks guys.
the tuff heads are a two piece laminated BH.
RE the cutthroats, i see the dimensions are the same for both the 160gr and 190gr models, do they vary in blade thickness or does the 190gr model not have the recess machined into the blade? if the 190gr has a recess, is it simply smaller?
what is the blade thickness for each?
i'm surprised at the lack of choice out there for glue on machined 2 blades. i guess most people want factory screw ins?
thanks again.
Ozy, I don't know the blade thickness off the top of my head but they are plenty stout! Shoot them an email, I think Tommy's address is tlc@rmsgear.com
Now these aren't 1 piece...but they are pretty tough.
Abowyer heads have a heavy thick blade welded to a machined ferrule.
Ozy,
They vary the blade thicknesses and size/depth of recesses to achieve the desired weights. Tommy at RMS Gear can answer your blade thickness questions.
Clinton, I have not put one thru a critter yet, but I have some of the Cutthroats ( the screw in version) and have shot them quite a bit.
They are pretty stout heads that I personally would compare against anything I have seen. I have a fair collection of broadheads and have seen most ( books) and held many, these are stout.
I can get mine to shave fairly easily. If you can wait till fall, I will tell you how they work on critters.
Good as I think they are....there are a lot of really good heads on the market now. Pick one you like.

I think you're looking for something you can use on those Buffs and Mad cows over there. Also want to play with weights a bit?
I've shot enough Moose now to know what works for me. I'm mostly a 3 blade fan but for the occasional bone hit (both shoulder & rib) I wanted to find a good quality 2 blade. I've never had a blood trail good enough to satisfy me on occasional 2 blade use. A few failures with top, popular two blades. (Curled tips even with tanto bevelling)
I also wanted to try a quality single bevel just for the bone issues. Shot my best Bull last year thru both lungs just nicking one rib. So no bone issues as it was a complete pass thru.
It was however the best blood trail I've had with two blades.
I have them mounted on 55-70# spines carbons. My Recurve is 54# at 29". Total arrow weight is 685 grains.
Found the last Broadhead I'll need in Cutthroats.
I use the glue-on version. Easy to get scary sharp too.
back again.
so are there any others out there now?
Sorry Clint. In my opinion, If you tried it and you ain't happy with the Cutthroat you ain't gonna be happy with anything. :goldtooth:
found 200gr glue on Cutthroats in stock, 1/2 dozen ordered!
no i haven't tried the cutthroats. just wondering if there are any others out there now. seems not.
I'm actually looking for something like the 300gr tuffhead. I know i could just buy Tuffheads but i'm not real keen on the idea of paying for something before it's even made in the current economic environment.
